Just wanting some opinions. Not sure what I'd change, but always open to suggestions.

After my, err.. father's, 20th reunion. Okay, MY 20th, there was some talk about the website they set up. The discussion led to a consensus that is would be nice to have a website where people...

Just add a good description and maybe a few links to important parts of your forum in the first post.
You might also work on the format of the first page, add some Bold, or color.. Get those that are searching and find this post, want to check out your forum. :smiley_:

ps. concerning your site, I would make the welcome header an image.

Well, if they find this they will want to find the forum as it is a very specific niche. ;)

As for the Welcome Header as an Image I think you either need to slow down or lay off the hard stuff!! LOL

Not only is it already an image, but you did it for me.
