ShadowSpear Special Operations Community Forum

I'm still changing things daily, but this is my special operations/ military oriented website/forum. I'm looking to make some major changes to it after 4.0 is released, and also will be adding the blog/community networking add-on after it is released. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Great description in your posting.
One of the first few things I would suggest to help it would be this quick edit
Powered by vBulletin in title tag [how to remove]

and then add some better descriptions for your forum categories

I have more, but we'll do these first.

wow thanks! I spent the morning removing the VB tag, and I added descriptions to all of the niche related forums on my board. I love this site.

It's looking good, I would work on still longer descriptions if you can.
Check out most the forums on our site. Very wordy..lol

The next thing I suggest is to change your welcome header to an image.
[HOW-TO] Make your Welcome Headers an image!

It's going to be more work then the Phrase clean up, but end the end, it's well worth it.

Check out some of these sites for ideas of what you can do with the welcome header "image"

Cool I will check it out. Here's a crazy question, If I toggle the "Show Forum Descriptions in Forum Listings" off in the admincp, will this have any downside affect? The descriptions are attached to the forum, they just arent visible on the home page. Thanks again!
