Re: u-Assist.com

Can you add a better description ?
the search engines will pick up in this section Very quick and the more you have for a description, the better your listing will get indexed..

Either way, Thanks for adding your site to our directory

Thanks eric, so, just out of curiosity, it's uniqueness is to your taste, or not? I'm not dead set on the color scheme yet

Re: u-Assist.com

I like the setup in the fact that it is very clean and easy to navagate.

it may be a little "to light" for my taste and I would edit the welcome header to explain what the site is about.. and on that note, I would check out this thread..

[HOW-TO] Make your Welcome Headers an image!

Re: u-Assist.com

got to agree with Brandon, after a few pages the bright yellow is a little hard for my eyes... the rest is indeed clean and easy to navigate
some tweaking and it'll be ok, as said colors are non comen on vb so that's something people will remember after a visit

Re: u-Assist.com

Thanks guys, yeah, I think I might tone down the colors a little bit but I did want it to be unique.

Thanks also for the tip about the welcome message, that's an interesting one.

I'm still trying to figure out who'll be my target market, that's why I didn't put more in the detail of my site, but I will be determining that soon!

Thanks for the tips! :xcute:

I have a site I run for fun and I'm not sure who I am going after :1hissyfit:

All I know if that I want it to be active..:2laugh:

If your able to spend 30-40$ you can get a pretty nice style that is somewhat unique.
here is a small list of vBulletin designers that offer some nice styles
Paid vBulletin Skins and Styles
or if you can spend 200-300$ you can get a totally uniqe and Very nice style IMHO from Miner Skinz - Custom and Free vBulletin skins
My plan is to use one of his styles on my other site, but like I said.. I need to figure out who I'm trying to build the forum for..lol
