Using very simple template edits and a .php file, the mod brings the new member to a page where they are forced to choose a subscription using which ever payment API that vBulletin has integrated (and you have activated). Once payment is made, the new member uses a unique item code generated by vBulletin that is found in thier payment receipt e-mail to complete registration. Unlike the other mod thats out there, this one cannot be circumvented.

What's so wrong with disabling site features until they buy a subscription? I think $100 is a bit harsh.

This is simply for people who do not wish anyone to view the forums without paying first. So, I guess it depends on how you want to manage your board. This mod would only be used by a small percentage. As far as the $100....make me an offer if your interested. However, keep in mind, having this made for you would be over $100.
