In the past, I have helped people with their vBulletin transfers for a great price. But I've never advertised my services before! :eek:

So that's what I'm doing here.

For the price of $50 US Dollars, I will perform the transfer for you and guarantee everything is working nicely. I will be needing some sensitive account information, so please keep that in mind when contacting me.

What's included in the price?

• Backing up the Source database
• Installing vbulletin on Target server
• Installing ImpEx
• Setting up the transfer
• Transfering all Users, Threads, Posts
• Merging up to 3 (staff) accounts
• Rebuilding post counts and other maintenance issues

What's NOT included in the price?

• downloading ImpEx, vBulletin
• Creating user groups
• Transfering attachments such as avatars

(Price will go up if these things need to be done.)

There is a lot involved when transferring a database.
You would be the "client" here...

This is the plan:

• Upload/Install licensed copy of VB onto client's server
• Backup client's SOURCE database
• Use impex to transfer all tables into new db
• Make sure all posts and members show up
• Merge up to 3 users (if vb already installed)

This is what I need:

1. client's vb customer ID
2. licensed vb copy to upload (can be uploaded already[need user 1's logon & password then])
3. licensed copy of ImpEx
4. server address / domain name
5. FTP access to both (same?) servers
6. New MySQL database: (db name, db host (localhost?), db user name, db user pass)
7. TARGET server's full path (such as /home/public_html/~domain/forums)
8. know if client prefers /forums or root installation
9. working admin access to SOURCE forum
10. admin access to vb forum (if previously installed)
11. list of forum leaders from SOURCE forum (with email addresses, and function [admin/mod])
12. client's MSN screen name for emergencies
13. client's estimated times available for chat
14. payment, duh! :p (can be held off until completion)
