Using very simple template edits and a .php file, the mod brings the new member to a page where they are forced to choose a subscription using which ever payment API that vBulletin has integrated (and you have activated). Once payment is made, the new member uses a unique item code generated by vBulletin that is found in thier payment receipt e-mail to complete registration. Unlike the other mod thats out there, this one cannot be circumvented.

That's great and all, but why pay $100 for a mod almost no-one uses and is available free at vb.org?

you say the other mod can be circumvented, how?

i actually used that mod before, but not to force subscription but to give that option. the member would click register and register and after would be redirected to a mapped page i made that showed a features column showing what a free, and paid registration offered. they could click "no thanks" and be directed to the forums or click "upgrade now" and go to the payments page...

Its just a redirect to the subscriptions page in thier user cp. When you register, all you have to do is click on the forum index breadcrumb and it takes you there without having to pay. This mod does not allow you to do that.
