| Selling my IPB skin business Hello all! I am spinning off my IBP skins and focusing on strictly vBulletin. Any interested parties feel free to contact me either here or at my site (see link in my signature). What the successful buyer will receive is full rights to the IPB versions of 37 incredible skins coded for the latest version of IPB (2.3.6) as well as all source files related to these skins. This is a great opportunity for someone to start a skin reselling business and hit the ground running.
This isn't an auction, asking price is $3700.
Thanks!

Not sure what you're asking on the last question about licenses/domains...sorry. |

| Re: Selling my IPB skin business Lol, just had an argument with vbskinworks. I bought a skin in 2007 and did not take the 2nd skin right away. Wanted to cash in now but the rules were changed and no exeptions were made, so no second skin
But nice skins anyway
With licenses I ment how you sold them. Is a skin sold on name or domain base? I ask this to see if I would be able to keep track of where the skins are at this moment. Can you give a plusminus about how many times they are sold? So I have an idea how 'unique' they are at the moment.

But as we know, the bureaucracy are working very slow and there is no help to push for a major bank ..
Hoping for a response tomorrow Norwegain time.
They are really great and Sebaldus Design, my Company would love to deal with this ..
But let us see how the bank responds ..
All the Best

| Re: Selling my IPB skin business In connection with these skins for you to sell, so I have some questions: And need answerd about this questions:
1.
Look of the print that is sold by these huge rail and have some exact number on how many Ipb skins that have been sold?
2.
When you have sold a leather or more to a customer, so it is that I am assuming free update for these.
But, how long does the download of leather you buy. Is this a year that normal?
3.
Are the customer list of buyers of leather, such that one has full control when they purchased the leather and when they must renew the service of the skin?
4.
Most people who use and have used IPBoard go over to the vB forum.
Do you only want to sell vB skins in the future and wondered then whether it is possible to make a deal on reseller arrangements with you for the sale of these.
So that my potential customers who wish vB skins can buy them through me. (reseller arrangement) and that I can get a deal on a small profit on the vB skin that my customers had to buy from you?
5.
Did you code the second skin than Ipb and vb? Such as phpBB forum skins, and more forums?
6.
There are many questions and a lot of money so I need some more info before I possibly take any final decision.
7. You wrote that it also are IPB forums, blog and more.
What about the domains: http://www.transversestyles.com/
Are this included with the IPB forums, and the rest?
That's because U have sold lots of this skinns and then it have been great to use the same domains..
See that others have asked whether any of this, but not the answer ...
Think it is important to get proper information so they know what they may be opposed if they buy these skins.
I need more info before I deside to buy your IPB skinns shop....
So please answerd me here in the forums.
Thanks in advance.
All the Best from Sebaldus..

| Re: Selling my IPB skin business Hi. I'll try and answer as best I can. When I said "I'm selling my IPB skin business" I suppose that was a bit misleading in that all I'm really selling are the IPB rights to 37 skins. Invision does not allow the transfer of board licenses so the only way to transfer the IPBoard, Blog, Gallery and Downloads licenses would be for me to relinquish my account at Invision which I won't be doing so those licenses aren't included in the sale.
1 - Data on how many IPB skin licenses have been issued over the years would be available to committed buyers but I won't post exact numbers here...I can say it is many dozens.
2 - I offer one year free support and access to upgraded versions with the initial purchase. This option can be renewed each year for a fee.
3 - Yes, I can provide a list of current license holders and the dates associated with those purchases to the buyer.
4 - The only reseller "deal" I would be interested in is the affiliate program we already have established (which is actually pretty generous in it's payouts).
5 - No, the skins are only coded for vB and IPB, no other platforms and none are being considered.
6 - I'm not transferring or allowing the use of any of the Transverse logo's or domains, sorry.
Basically this is just a deal for the skins and me releasing the rights to the IPB versions of them to a new owner to do as they wish with them. While I realize it is a lot of money, in this business it really isn't. Skins of this quality, brand new, on the open market would sell for 3-$500 a piece easy and I have about that invested in each. I'm selling them for less because they have been on the market for some time plus I'm hoping to encourage a quick sale. Just an FYI, I have other alternatives and will keep and continue to support IPB if they don't sell. I hope this helps you with your questions! |

Tre reason why I ask about how many shinns U have sold are that I want to know if the market are filled up or if it's an great possibility to sell lots of them.
I will PM U so we can talk some more private, because I have asked the main question here in the forums. Sendin U an PM.
Best Regards from Sebaldus. |

I was actually just thinking you might want to keep these as IPB might be the powerhouse soon enough |

| Re: Selling my IPB skin business Heh, what's happening with vB is only part of the reason...main reason is I want to see what IPB 3.0 brings to the market and now that I have a really talented partner to shoulder the burden of upgrading the skins I'd be foolish to not see what happens |
