I recently learnt that this has no association with Vbadvanced

a lot of people thought this was a Dynamic version of vBadvanced and then they see it is a 'stand alone'

would this be the correct deduction, please?

I ask because I thought Dynamics was pretty neat until hearing this

Why anyone would think that this was a replacement for vBAdvance is beyond me. I never thought this at all. This page explains it in detail. vBa CMPS vs. vBa Dynamics - What's the Difference? - vBadvanced Forums

The only thing I wanted was a news/article system and even though Dynamics done an excellent job at it, it was still lacking the ability to fully integrate itself into vBulletin. I.E. clicking new posts returned new results from dyna as well. IF Dyna had this ability I would still be using it today.

There is still no doubt to me that this is a great script but it's not what I myself need. There are several users using it that are happy with it's functionality. Before I bought this I was looking at GARS but it became unavailable at the time. Now that GARS it back running I have now started using it instead of DYNA, only because GARS gave me the new posts results though.

RaceJunkie, you can use in dymanics the CMPS module for latest threads. We`ve had the same issue, and that will work ;)

RaceJunkie, I have used vBnews quite effectively for providing news

I would like for them to find a way to incorporate the comments into vBulletin however this seems to work quite well for me

I also use vBadvanced with vBnews
