I'm curious as to why some people use styles on their admin cp when it won't be seen by the public. Can you alter the structure of things so that it's actually easier to use, or is it purely cosmetic?

you know exactly why, cause you are in there a lot and you make it so it doesn't strain your eyes, or so its easier to see

and yes, you can save the dropdowns in a open state on the top left save button.
