Create vB pages by creating a template

Please click Mark as Installed if you use this modification >>>>

Custom vB Pages

This lets you create a template like "page_test" and open it by using

http://www.yourforum.com/index.php?page=test

You just need to use the prefix "page_" on the name of a template to create a new vBulletin page, full with navigation bar and footer.

You need HTML skills to use this modification, but it helps greatly to make your own vB pages.

Re: Create vB pages by creating a template

This is fantastic. I have just 1 problem if you could help me with..

I'm running smedds portal and my index.php is a portal page, I use forum.php for my message board.

I'd like to have index.php?page=pagename and have it load properly in my news box area.. I've tinkered with it but I can't get the custom page to load anywhere but forum.php which is out of context with the site =(.

Any suggestions?

Cool, I had no idea that this was even here. I was looking for something that would make adding pages this easy.

with your situation you need to use forum.php?page=pagename and it will work.
