I am new over here. My forums is still new. I am doing the finishing touch before I invite people to sign up. So if there is any suggestion that will make my forum cute and attractive please keep messages streaming to me.

One suggestion would be to do something with all those categories... add some forums to them.

And it would be nice to have a skin... even a free one from vb.org.

Hiya, Thanks. I have a skin. If you go to the bottom left, you will see a web chat style skin. It is very nice. But every time I log off it goes to the default. Tell me which admin action will make it stick to the skin for which I spent lots of money on.
I have been struggling to play about with the Style manager without sucess.
HELP!

Well... it's not visible to Visitors. Make it your default style by going to:
vBulletin Options -> Style & Language Settings -> Default Style (select your custom style).

And in order to have all your users and visitors use that skin, check "No" at the "Allow users to change styles" row.
This will force everyone to use that skin.

Great. You have been so helpful. Now I need to get into the HTML sheet to change the header and remove the banners that came with the skin. How can I do this?

Ok, you gotta login to your AdminCP -> Styles & Languages -> Style Manager -> Select your custom skin -> Edit Templates -> header -> search for:
or something like that and delete it...

As for the side column panel... Donno how it's made yet.
