I am JudieDJ, Owner/Admin for a small vB parenting site(I'm sorry, I attempted to post my site link...opps, didn't know) We are just about 6 weeks young, but already have 85 members, many very active. Unfortunatly, with the "bad Press" about the vPlaza hack, I decided to pull the plug on it. While doing a search I found this site. I was reading a few threads when I noticed a "thank you" style hack, where members could simply publicly thank a poster for thir post. My site is an extreemly polite (although we have no censor filter on and we curse a bit) group of parents. I thought they would enjoy that hack. I decided to sign up, check out your different styles and hack recomendations.
Thank you for allowing me a chance to introduce myself. | | | Join Date: Oct 2006 | Posts: 852 | Location: France | | Re: JudieDJ's Intro welcome JUdieDJ

Honestly, I have depended on others the last 6 weeks to add plugins for me. I really have a desire to learn, and quite smart, but know NOTHING about what I am doing. I just want to be able to install this stuff on my own, but the instructions seem to be a bit over my head. My goal is to do a few simple things, and learn from there.
Please let me know if my amatyre questions become anoying. vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner | | Join Date: Mar 2007 | Posts: 23 | Location: Lewisburg | | Re: JudieDJ's Intro I keep waiting for the vB for Dummies book to come out | | | Join Date: Oct 2006 | Posts: 852 | Location: France | | Re: JudieDJ's Intro no need for the book, we are all here ;) (the dummies I mean ) | | Join Date: Mar 2007 | Posts: 23 | Location: Lewisburg | | Re: JudieDJ's Intro Well, I have somehow stumbled my way into getting it to work on my default, can't get the button to go to my spring sking, just getting a red X.
And thank Eric, I was quite nervous asking questions on .org. they all seem to be nice, but have a high expectation of owners computer skills. vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner
