New member Info- SPAM registrations anyone??

Good day, all!
I've been hosting a community forum (Forums at Guns N Hoses - Powered by vBulletin) for a group of us who ride motorcycles together and have found vBulletin to be a great resource. I can manage the day to day functions pretty well, but have been plagued by spam registrations, as I'm sure that many of you have been also. I usually go in daily to delete them. Anyone else addressing this?
As my name indicates, I'm retired so, I'm looking at the possability of implementing vBulletin as a community forum attached to our athletic club website. Anyone interested in some pro bono work to help a struggling club(www.pastimeac.org)? I'd just like to create a seamless link from our site to another vBulletin license. Thanks and I look forward to spending some time here on this site!
