I've never used Google Adsense before, and want to give it a try. But before I do that, I've got few questions.

I'm 18 years old and live in Connecticut, USA and they ask for Tax ID / Social Security Number (SSN).. when I do put that information in.. when do I have to file tax or worry about that?

I heard it's once you hit $600.. so until then you don't have to file tax or worry anything about that - is that correct?

My dad usually handles this stuff so I am newbie..

Guidance is appreciated.

You'll need to check your state taxes, every state is different.

Well its true that every state is different with its tax, and you are also just 18 years old, so may be there you have to face some more problems. Well i don't knows exactly about it.

I cannot speak to Adsense being taxed. I never received an tax papers from Google so I never worried about it.. That doesn't mean you shouldn't though.

BTW Geralds, 18 years old + has to file taxes like everyone else.
