And thanks for the PayPal info, didn't even think about that. Sheesh.

Quick question though....I noticed that the PayPal option asks for a dollar amount when setting up a 'buy now' button. When I looked on your advertisement page, the link routed you to payments.php and not their PayPal. Do you have an example (or where to get) a "payment" page?

Yeah it kinda complicated, i tinker WAAYYY too much with my site......lol

with the paypal button, you can set it for a certain amount and plop it onto your ad page, and that works fine and dandy, no problem.

see you got the different amounts for different spots. if someone pays like that it automatically plops them in the advertisers group and also makes it easy for me to see when their ad time is up. Advertiser group info HERE

kinda complicated, but it works for me, and the 10 months shown on bottom of payment drop-down i have to take off, i had a person pay for 10 months of advertising as a lump sum and left it on there....

I'm not to that point yet. But, can I set up different PayPal buttons for different amounts and just 'name' them? Like "$50 Advertisement Button" and "$20 Advertisement Button"? I would assume so.

Actually, let me go try and we'll go from there!

yes, you can setup different payment and/or subscriptions in paypal, I would do at Caddy did and use the built in subscription page, that way it's all tracked in the vb itself.

That actually makes sense about the subscription payment.

I used my 'visitors' from my forums stats to estimate the traffic to my site. I still can't find that number within Google for some reason.

Just to update those newer members on the ability to have this advertise page as someone asked me about it.

I've recently sold a couple of links which cover my hosting costs and add a little extra to the bottom line

I am really wanting to have a subscription (auto-billing each month).

I'd use the payments.php but I don't know how many advertisers I'm losing by sending them to a register page before they can pay. Does Paypal do auto-billing?
