I was looking around and I dont see many if no mods at all for advertising your vbulletin. I was thinking of making a whole new html page for it. Any ideas or know of any hacks or maybe some templates ti do some advertising on site? I know I seen a couple of them somewhere..Just dont member where

There is a create a vb page hack at vb.org, try and find that and add stuff that you need.

install the hack, screenshot your forum page you want to show for placements and add it to the page, super easy. if you aren't much into graphics make a rough copy of what you want and I'll doctor it up for you.

Well, hack is installed and I have the options "sort of done" at this point.

But, I need help with the screenshot (can you photoshop that thing together for me?) and also how do I add the PayPal button image?

By the way, how do I find out the stats for unique visitors? Is there an easy way or do I actually have to load information into a website somewhere (and pay for it) to get the information?

do you use google analytics Arny? i know there are many options out there but goog is good and free to setup. set that up and give it a day or 2 and you should get a idea of what your traffic stats are. someone can feel free to chime in on a better option.

sketch up (even in MS Paint) where you want your ads and i can make you a better version of your locations to show.

I signed up early on when I started to work on the site a month or two ago, so I'll check to see if I have some stats there.

I'd actually like it just exactly as you have it.

The banners/links are exactly where I'd like them to be. Although, the top banner 'space' isn't there yet, but that's where I'd like it placed. Can you work with that?

Caddyman how did you get a full shot of your forum like that on your advertisement page? When I do a print screen I get only half the forum. I can't figure out how to get a pic of the whole page.

Change your screen resolution....Make everything smaller so that it all fits into your screen..then after do it change back to normal..That would be easiest way

To get the paypal buttons working, read the readme or install.txt file, whatever it's called and it explains how to get those working correctly.

I use a program called Snagit to get my full page shots.

Andy, the readme/install.txt file doesn't include any instructions for the PayPal buttons. Once I get my screenshot done (thanks Caddyman!

), then that's the last piece for me to go 'live' with the page.

Well, that is, once I find where I want to place it on the navbar.

might have to right-click and save-as

in paypal go to "merchant services" tab and click "buy now button" the fill in the info and pick a button style etc etc.....follow that thru to get your buttons, if you want them...
