For those who do not know Google offers a way which is set to your budget, to create keywords for your site. The way it works is you pick the keywords you want listed. Obviously when someone is looking for those keywords you will display usually between 1-3 pages of the search engine. Whether it will attract users to your forum or website I do not , but it is guaranteed that your site will definately show up under those keywords! So that must be a good thing. I used google adword one time so far,
put in 50$ and my keywords, and I was getting a little traffic..
I don't know if I'll use it again..

As long as you plan out what you want your ad to say, you should be okay, You can pick where you want to show it.. like in site, or search engine results.

do you have the settings as,, only paying when a ad is clicked ?

make sure u have it this way..

not paying for impressions,, paying for clicks

that will help with getting the "bang for your buck"

Yeah thats how I have it setup per click. Its good because you can adjust the amount whenever you want. Ill see how it does for a month I have had one click so far lol. I guess its all about patience when wanting to attract members.

Yeah I figured I can ditch out that much for one month. I can always changed the price during the month so far I only owe for one click .10 cents lol

it's nice being able to select how much per click, and how much your total bill will be..

Absolutely the other good thing about it that I like is that once they type in the keyword that you have chosen your add appears on the left, although I would prefer to pop up on the with the search results....

If you pay more per keyword, your position and consistency will be in your favor

Well Im not sure exactly how much they charge me per keyword I did not see that option. All I know is that so far I have only had one click still and charged only .10 cents lol. Its seems not to be working in favor. I will see how it goes during the week since the weekend is probably the slowest. Id like to one day say Im running a bigboard but their is a lot of competition with history forums.
