How much are you making from adsense?

Around how much are you making via adsense every month? I recently placed adsense on my new forum and so far it has earned $3.68 previous month.

If you don't mind sharing - roughly how much are you making monthly?

December: $47.07
January so far: $22.66

Made more in the last couple of days selling real ads. Here is my ad page. I sold three header spots in the space of 12 hours at $40 each. Wish I charged more and will charge more next month; price up to $75 a spot on a 5 rotation as opposed to 3.

December was around $30 and so I made some changes (only displaying to guests on a couple of ads that I was testing) and I'm at about $20 already for the month. So, looks like I'm gonna have a nice 30-40% increase due to the changes and some additional traffic we're getting lately.

I can see where you would go that way.

I've been doing MUCH better on my ads from sponsors on a monthly basis. But, it's nice that most of my hosting costs can be absorbed by the Adsense revenue.

i agree, i found a widget that worked good on the google sidebar (or vista sidebar) can't remember, but it was nice. then they took my work desktop and gave me a laptop and i lost it

I wish I could. I don't know what I did to even do it. LOL. I wish I could give tips because before this, I was lucky to make a dollar.

Did traffic go up tremendously on your site? Did you accidentally let it out that by clicking on the ads that the site would be reimbursed?

I mean, to go from $1 to $250 and now trending at another $150 for this month, there have to be some huge contributing factors.

I did get more traffic. That is known. Tremendously. No. I do think that my members might understand it helps. I don't know. I do follow Google's terms though. Maybe I am lucky. Maybe it is setup right. I am not sure. I did add more ads. Although, I must say, donations have been a bigger payoff than donations.

So far in January I've made about $25 more in Adsense income than I've spent in adwords advertising.

I also seem to be one of the few who uses adwords for vBulletin forum advertising.

FWIW I had some big negatives in the first couple months, and I'm far from "even".

Looks like I'm pretty close on my estimates as I'm sitting at about 20% over last month already with about another week's worth of clicks to go!

Its a slow month since I appeal to high schoolers and college students because they have finals and such, so I only made $109 so far.

With about 2 1/2 days remaining in January, we're sitting at approximately 35% increase over last month. So, hopefully we can keep up the nice trend for February.

Im sorry. I am just happy that I can stay above water with paying my bills. I just got my check from december. It felt great cause it was my first one! What did you do to receive a 35% increase?

It was simply more traffic to the site. I've been getting some nice publicity using FaceBook and also getting some good search engine placement for a couple of key "seasonal" Disney terms on Google which have helped. Plus, I also adjusted many of the ads to be shown only to guests which helped on the percentages.

GlennyBee, very impressive! Even with the drop to be in four figures is great. Once I complete my template for my "100 stand alone sites for 2009" initiative, I hope to be doing something similar
