I was a bit curious about Direct-Link-Ads, but since their whole 'Calculate Link Value' page is just never working for me it's not worth it.

I was more curious at pricing than anything, because it'd take quite a bit for me to take a hit on google to be selling text links.

Re: Monetizing vBulletin Forums

So I thought I would give Burst Media a try...LMAO look what they said..

Dear Publisher:

Thank you for your application to join the Burst Media network. We regret to inform
you that after our review of Argue Crazy, we have rejected your request
for membership.

As you are probably aware of from our eligibility requirements, Burst does not allow
our ads to appear on content areas that you are not directly responsible for,
including chat rooms, wikis, and message boards. Since the majority of your site
seems to be forums, it does not seem like a good match.

Thank you for your consideration.

They dont allow forums? Bah I didnt see anything about forums

Re: Monetizing vBulletin Forums

If they don't allow forums, chat rooms, wikis (or any user created content, I imagine) they're shutting themselves out of a large section of the market.

Re: Monetizing vBulletin Forums

right solil and once they realize they are taking a big hit they will loosen the reign but they are a big Co and know what they are doing.

do you really take a major hit in google for selling links? i make maybe 100 a month between the sites i sell links on, would my rankings improve if i pulled them off?

(i use text-link-ads, and ZTMC)

Yes, you are correct, Clicksor is not good & They do not offer proper customer service, do not waste your time with them....When I was worked for my site Florida Gulf Coast, I had used it, but I did not get any quick advantages from it.... ...
