I fully admit I suck at CPA programs like Commission Junction, but I'm trying to improve. In the past they closed my account twice for lack of activity, which baffled me at first; I was logging in regularly, people were clicking (occasionally), they just weren't buying. Someone advised me that I had to get someone to buy something from my links every six months, even if it was just a small thing I cajoled a friend into buying.
I opened another account and this time I don't want to screw things up. Does it count if a family member (different name, same address) does it?

I would think any purchase would count as long as it's logged in your control panel, i would venture to say even if you bought it yourself (unless that breaks the TOS)
