Is There A Postbit, Threadbit, Xbit Guide?

After getting most of my external scripting done, I know need to dig into vBulletin, rip some stuff out, and put some new stuff in.

For example, I want to display "Feedback: 33 out of 35" or something like in the User info box. This thing:

Welcome, brandondrury.
255 New Posts since your last visit.
You last visited: 05-26-2007 at 05:40 PM
Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 5.

Is there a name for this deal? Something with bit in it?

Is there a guide that breaks down all the "bits" in English so I can figure out what I need to destroy and what I need to leave alone.

Thanks,
Brandon Drury
