We recently linked up with digg, and our forum has nearly trippled its unique visitors. Mind you this is a new forum with very few links out there to begin with. I highly recommend it.

PS: I'm not affiliated with dig, just found it a very good resource for link backs and getting new users.

Digg mainly works if your site has a tech niche else stumbleupon and reddit work well.

My forum is a niche forum I guess you would say. I'll have to submit to those links above as well, and see how it affects things.

Luigi - could you please elaborate a bit more as to what you did to link up with Digg...did you have to pay? I'm guessing Digg's is posting your link on there site?

I'm on the same boat, I need to generate traffic flow and any help I can get would be very much appreciated.

@Nica, all you have to do to get your link in Digg is just by submitting you article or content to them. There is a vb plugin to do this at vbulletin.org

You need to create an account with digg.com then every thread or post that you think might attract visitor to your site, put them in digg. You can even do this manually.
