Making videos for youtube

So, I was thinking of making some simple video tutorials on some things, but every time I make one it comes out horribly wrong. You can not even see what is being done. I have been trying out multiple screen capture software programs, I was wondering if someone who has done this before can tell me the best resolution and program to use, I would like to make a decent tutorial where people can see what I am doing. Any thoughts?

What software have you been using? I've used camstudio before with no problems-

CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software

Re: Making videos for youtube

I checked out camstudio, but it still makes it really small. The problem I am having is find the right size to make the video to upload to youtube. It's kind of pointless to make a video that you can hardly see. And all my test sizes come out really hard to see. Do you have an example Bruwizzle? It would be nice to check something out to see how it looks.

I don't have any examples-deleted the lot when I stopped making tutorials. But the size always came out fine for me..maybe you're settings need to be altered?

Try contacting one of the guys who does tutorials on youtube and see what they say as all of theirs come out great
