008 Link Building Guide

Link Building is an important part of any successful website. You can have the best website in the world, but without links or any form of promotion no-one is going to know you exist.
The aim of this section is to provide simple techniques that you can use time & time again to build links to your Affiliate Websites, Personal Websites or even your Corporate Websites. I actively promote the use of ‘Deep Linking’ to individual sections & pages, so you’ll be able to use most of these techniques to achieve that goal.
Disclaimer: Please note, some of these techniques if overused may be considered as spamming & may get your website penalised.

I increased link density in 2 days with my new forum than I did in 6 months with my last one... This is a VERY helpful guide!!!! That social bookmarking tricks is priceless, I have increased my hits by a 1K a day using this alone.

that's a good way to bring traffic to your site. very helpful to get some extra income too. without traffic no more you can get extra income if you don't have build a link building...

I'm all over link building right now. Just finished a new site MalvernSports.com and need to drive major traffic...of course...anybody have any other money tips I could use.

I know this is an old post and what have you but I have no idea what this guy is talking about. I seem to be pretty lost. He talks about building a social network and then linking the profiles. How do you do that? that did not make any sense to me. I get the part about putting your links in the profiles, I do that already and I'm on several forums etc. But where am I supposed to put these profile links after they are created to benefit my site?
