| Another vBSEO case study - Delaware Forums Not sure what really everyone wants to see here....lol
site i installed the test copy of vbseo on is Talk Delaware Forums is your source for chat, news, and information in Delaware
installed vbseo last night, here are the current stats (hope these are what we need to compare, anything else needed LMK)
overall
keywords
referrals
bandwidth (moved servers recently, this is the oldest stats i have)
I have done pretty much all the off-site seo i need too previous to the install i think, and don't plan on doing any more really.
comments, suggestions to help me make this as fair as possible would be good

| Re: Another vBSEO case study - Delaware Forums Good Luck Caddy!
My decision at the moment is that I don't need vBSEO. I rank higher in google than competitive forums that have been going for 6+ years and I've been online for 4 months.
So I'm keen to follow your progress and see your results. |

| Re: Another vBSEO case study - Delaware Forums Chase, if you keep watching some of the finer details in Analytics, you'll some improvements happening before you know it. Don't stop looking deeper, when you see the indexed page count dropping off, because there will be some other good things happening at the same time.
Since installing vBSEO, I'm getting more search engine visits on more keywords and my bounce rate keeps getting smaller and smaller, so I'm definitely smiling.
Did you manage to get the Relevant Replacement issue straightened out? |

There you are trying to highlight the relevant text of each thread and then the words Remove Advertisements are sitting in the midst of it all.
I'm not sure where that phrase is being picked up, but it's certainly not relevant. And the search engines are going to be seeing it, on every thread. It's like the 'Powered by vBulletin' phrase appearing everywhere. |

| Re: Another vBSEO case study - Delaware Forums That was being picked up from the remove ads snippet i used under the in post ad in the postbit template. i removed that remove ads link and it's clean now.

i see a glitch in the profile pages, not sure why...

http://www.talkdelaware.com/chase/

A mod should move all other questions and discussion to a new thread. Sorry but hijackers are a pet hate of mine. |

| Re: Another vBSEO case study - Delaware Forums So far, things look very positive. Is it simply from the changes in the URLs that vBSEO works so well in helping attract an influx visitors? |

| Re: Another vBSEO case study - Delaware Forums Being new to all of this I have to ask, are these good stats and are you happy with them?
How does this compare to other sites that some of the other have?
From a newbie perspective that looks pretty respectable. |

| Re: Another vBSEO case study - Delaware Forums they are decent, there are plenty of sites that dwarf TD traffic wise, but for a fairly new forums they are good.
most important measure here, as we are measuring VBSEO's product is the search engine referrals. you see there
"google (organic) 8,915"
that is what we are mainly watching here, along with watching to see if keyword searches increase or perform better.
monthly is a little too long for updates on these things really. for instance, last week my google referrals were up above 11k and have recently settled showing a negative result. they fluctuate sometimes. |

| Re: Another vBSEO case study - Delaware Forums Organic is just a term describing "not paid" see you can use adwords to get your link on google pages and lot of places for paying for those spots they are paid refferals, a organic referral comes from a user typing in a search on google and your site being listed in the results and them clicking to you. |
