Any final and up-to-date guides for vBulletin 3.6.4 and mod_rewrite ?

Are there any final and up-to-date guides for vBulletin 3.6.4 and mod_rewrite ? I have a new forum up and before I'll have enough activity on it to justify the buying of vbseo or any other plugins , I would like to play a little with mod_rewrite.

If someone's using it on 3.6.4 plase post up the tutorial and up to date version of the mod rewrite hack.

Thanks

well, I think there are 2 free mod_rewrite hacks.

If I was working on a site and wanted to "SEO" it, I would do everything in the sticky threads in this section and this one here

Adding H1 Tags to your Forum and Threads

btw, SEO is a lot more then just crURL's " content relevant url's.. or mod_rewrite

there is a tutorial on DaniWeb IT Discussion Community - Software Programming / Web Development and Technical Support but I've never tried it..

ya, I hear ya..

I'd be careful with the mod rewrite, because your url structure is something you want to set once, and not touch it again..
