I had posted a nice reply and then I refreshed the browser by mistake and lost it..lol

basically, I was submitting the site to directories the first day I had the url.

I spent about 300 the first month, 45 or so in a submission service that submitted to 400 or so directories and then another 250 or so on high PR backlinks. including a pr7 and half dozen pr6's and then some 5's and 4's.

During this time I was busy adding content that was related to SEO and vBulletin.

The 2nd month I spent another 300 and picked up some directory links that had deep link options, and I would link to styles, hacks, and seo articles.

Since then, I submit to every directory that I have time for, Also I've always had a link to the site in my sig's all over the net.. I'm guessing I have about 5,000 post around the web, not counting this site.

Right now I'm submitting our new directory Quality Link Directory to all the dir's on this page
Free Directory List - Directory Critic
and if I get time I'll submit to the 2nd page as well.

Just submit your site to all directories that you can find.. Big and small, they'll all help out with time ;)

Also, I've always tried to build links to several parts of the site, not just vBulletinSetup.com.. I've built to the archive, to the vb link dir, to the styles section, to the seo articles.. all over the place

ps. I've also tried to find quality vBulletin sites and have traded links with them.. You can see all the sites in the footer, they all have my link on them as well.
