Does Google Transfer Pagerank Via 301 Redirects?

This is something that I can't quite find a solid answer for. If I take page that has a PR5 for instance with hundreds of ibl's and I change the url and use a 301 redirect to point it to the new url, will all those old urls still transfer the Pagerank to the new page equally?

No.

Direct from Google

While we can't manually change your URL in our search results, there are steps you can take to make sure your transition is smooth.

First, you can redirect individuals to your new site. If your old URLs redirect to your new site using HTTP 301 (permanent) redirects, our crawler will discover the new URLs. For more information about 301 HTTP redirects, please see http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2616.txt

Google listings are based in part on our ability to find you from links on other sites. To preserve your rank, you'll want to tell others who link to you of your change of address. One way to find a sampling of sites that link to yours is to perform a link search. To learn how, please visit Google Help : Search Features. To obtain a comprehensive list of the links that point to your page, perform a Google search on your URL. On the results page, select the "Find web pages that contain the term" link, and Google will provide you with webpages that mention your address.
This is why changing your url structure once you are an established site is a VERY bad idea.

This sucks to know. I haven't added vbSEO to ClubMacintosh yet, and there are quite a few threads that have pagerank assigned to them.

While it doesn't specifically transfer page rank, if your threads have pagerank, it will return within a couple toolbar PR updates I am sure.

Ginger Fried Rice

Place the rice in a large mixing bowl and separate the grains using a fork or your fingertips. Set aside.

In a small mixing bowl, stir together the broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil and set aside.

Heat the canola oil in a large nonstick skillet or wok over high heat, add the scallions and ginger, season with a little salt and pepper, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds. Add the rice and edamame beans, if using, and stir-fry quickly to heat through, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the broth mixture and toss to coat evenly. Taste for additional seasoning and serve immediately.
