This morning I was searching Google researching for an article I'm writing and BAM the #2 result was my site. Maybe it's just me but I found this really exciting that I randomly came across my site this way. This gave me the same thrill as ringing up an arrogant batter for strike 3 looking at a cock shot.

So I started doing some more searches to see where I rank. I rank pretty high (1st page) for all but the two terms I want most (umpire forum and umpire forums) but both of those have increased dramatically. I want to be #1 then get site links. I am disappointed in some of the sites which rank above me I looked at many of them and can't figure out how. I think with some time I will pull ahead of them.

Now its been 2 hrs since I started my article and I only have 2 paragraphs written, but had a nice welcome diversion I wanted to share.

That's pretty nice when you see something you are not expecting when searching online. Now you know what is working and what isn't. Now get finished with that article you are putting off.
