Enable Spider Display?

Is there a point to enabling "Spider Display" so the Who's Online section identifies spiders? Does it help SEO?

Sorry to bring old topic up but how do you do to get spiders shown. I have enabled option in settings but their names are not shown in who's online...

Oh yes they are always there because I see them when I click "Currently active users" option but I want them to show up at actual list in footer

Re: Enable Spider Display?

There is a hack call "track guest views"
We use to have it installed, but removed it in the big clean up.
It will show what spiders have visted per day
There is also a hack that will show the spiders online, I think that is what you are wanting.
I don't remember what it's called.. Just search "spider" at vb.org

Re: Enable Spider Display?

I found one but that mod needs code changes when install so I'll leave it be.
I think they should be as guests there. I have "track guest views" and thats how I leave it for now.
