"forum", "forums", "talk" etc... what do people search for?

I'm considering getting a new domain and spinning off one of my forums onto it, because I think people consider it a local one and don't realize they're welcome to join too. Of course the best name is taken by one of those advertising sites, so I'm considering a hyphenateed one with "forums" in it. But there are many unhyphenated names available with things like "talk" "conference" "boards" etc. I think people are more likely to search on "forums", right?

talk is good, idk if it is searched though

user google webmaster tools or dp keyword tool to find keywords that are searched for

i think if you want a hard hitting word in your url then go with forum

you can use anything though, doing seo on and off site will get hits for the keywords you want

ill tell you off the top of my head if you want to know what keywords rank for regional websites like mine (Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania) where you want to show for "region+keyword" its going to be

region+real estate
region+university
region+map
region+car makers
region+lawyers

things like that...
