Getting Rid of Forum Name in Show Thread Title

Some people have suggested that getting rid of the forum name in show thread is better for SEO. I'm hesitant to do this however because I have my targeted keywords in the forum name so it would seem counter-productive. What do you guys think?

I personally don't think it is wise, especially if you are trying to build brand value.

I didn't like having the same text in every listing.

It does make a difference in specific keyword targetting. My serps increased after 3 week period

I mixed it along with this one and the results are quite good afterwards..

Removing Forum Name from Title Tag in Threads

I'm sure there's a thread somewhere about this already, so if there is please just point me to it.

I read that it is bad for your site's SEO to have your forum title in the showthread page because it decreases the thread title relevancy.
I am unsure if this is true, so I am seeking your guys' opinions.
It would be very easy to remove the forum's title from the title tag... but I am not sure whether I should or not.

I'll post a few reason why I like this option
It allows you to change the forum name and you don't have to worry about all the post getting reindexed
I think it helps focus the keywords on those pages.
I also think it looks better
