Google Toolbar Pagerank update in progress

Another pagerank update and again my sites got hammered! Even the sites which have been online for a long time and with which I don't do any link selling etc.

. Though I haven't been actively building links lately and don't care much about the pagerank, but it does pisses me off when my forum gets downgraded from PR2 to PR1 and that too when it has plenty of backlinks and good amount of quality and unique content

Ooooo...my homepage has went from PR1 to PR3 but my /forums have stayed at PR1.

Looks like i am still a 3 but that's from using a pagerank checker tool that might not be up-to-date. I don't have the toolbar installed cause PR means nothing to me. Hell, i was a 4 two PR updates ago.

I once had a 5 drop to three, went on a link building campaign and now holding at 4...

I had an update on my ip's
seems I get ever 2nd update, anyways.. I lost our PR5 on the forums again.. so if your keeping track, we went
pr 4, 5, 4, 5, and now 4 again

oh ya, our stats are always climbing.. that's why you shouldn't really worry about PR

Brandon, your halfway to PR10 if you think about it.

That's good the forum goes from 4 to 5 and not 4 to n/a

All i worry about is sending traffic to my forum. No use having a site with high PR but not a steady traffic flow to the site.

Yes all that matters is traffic, but I kind of find it funny that Google thinks our site is good enough to send 30,000+ monthly searchers to, but not good enough to keep PR2.

Okay, so on some I noticed a PR1 for my homepage and forums, but on another a PR0. Where is the most reliable place to look for the info? I wanted to put the information in my media kit when I get to that point, but not sure what information to use when it comes to PR.

You have a pr of 2 on your homepage and a pr of 1 on your forums according to google toolbar. That is most reliable I would imagine.

I don't use it either and just wait few weeks after the update to see my actual number. Fun part is reading threads on a few webmaster forums about the upate and hearing people complain...etc

I know PR is essentially worthless as an indicator of how well your site is doing, but still you can't help feeling good when you see that it's gone up

My Biggest site has gone from 2 to 4 to 5 to 0 to 2 :lol:
At the end of the day it hardly matters as the traffic is high.

looks like we are going back to a 5

Dig Pagerank in 700+ datacenters

so it was a 4 for a week

and it's back down to a 4 again..

My new blog got a PR3

My forum domain up to PR4 with forums page at PR2. Most of the internal forums are PR2 aswell.

It looks like another Page Rank update is going on
I see the IP.Board Help (IPBHelp.me) SEO, SEM, Modifications, Support & Tips /dev/ had some PR (right before I changed the URL..lol)
It looks like the Twitter profile for that site has updated as well
and my main account is showing a 6
