Half the battle? How many of you would agree that half the battle in search engines is actually your domain itself? I've only been running my website for ~3 weeks. Already, we're ranked 5th on Google for a term that has been used by many many different websites, Microsoft & Bungie Studios included. So, do you think that part of good rankings is a targeted domain name in addition to a SEOed board? Quote |

Re: Half the battle? Domain name is a key part in with keywords but you can be successful without a keyword rich domain, it's just a bit harder. I'd say that the Page Titles are pretty important as well, not sure the weight and google will never tell us anyways. Quote |

Re: Half the battle? The domain doesn't play that big of role is SEO IMO. The title tag will carry much more weight then the domain name itself, and backlinks ofcourse.
