| Re: Have you seen vB Optimise Very interesting.
I haven't used it, but I'll wait until we know for sure that things load quicker and it's better on the resources. |

| Re: Have you seen vB Optimise Just had a play with it, didn't see any difference in page generation times. Currently using XCache on server. It did cut down 2 queries on forumhome though.
Think I'll disable it for now until more info is available. |

Though it has some bugs, I'd recommend to use it if you're using vbadvanced, otherwise not as you'll need to disable Caching of Phrases (for a phrase bug) and Caching of Styles (for a permission bug) |

I usually make it worst than it should be . |

| Re: Have you seen vB Optimise I installed this on 3 sites and have noticed improved speeds on them. This has worked fine on them for awhile now. And I agree shut off the phrases. Other than that works fine. |

| Re: Have you seen vB Optimise It seems to clash with noppid's vBPicGallery and his stop bot registration mod.
The only quirk I don't care for with vBOptimize is the hassle of clearing cache when I make a template change. I have to turn vBOptimize off, clear its cache, then dump eAccelerator's cache, restart Apache and then enable vBOptimize again. PITA, in my not-so-humble opinion. |

| Re: Have you seen vB Optimise That was my thought, as well. But if I make a template change without it, it will not show the change. |

| Re: Have you seen vB Optimise If you flush the vBOptimize cache first then make the change, does it work then? This is how I have to do it. |

| Re: Have you seen vB Optimise No, that doesn't work either.
I just installed the script on a new site this morning. Same issue as before. Shut vBOptimize down, clear cache, dump eAccelerator, restart Apache and restart vBOptimize. It's the only method that works. Believe me, I've tried every possible combination under the sun. |

No particular reason, I just didn't notice any particular benefit. |

| Re: Have you seen vB Optimise I had it installed for a few days but it actually made my forum slower (we're using XCache, and even though there's an option for it, I don't think vBo actually uses it correctly). Since we began working on the new style for our site, the template cache nuisance became the last straw and we removed it. |
