I changed my header to an image, fixed the title, and installed the Google/Yahoo sitemap generator. For the sitemap mod I made the following changes:
Include Show Post Pages: No
Include Archive Pages: No
I also set "Display Simple View of Threads" to "No" in vBulletin Options>Search Engine Friendly Archive.
Any more tips? What else should I be doing?
(Btw, I don't want to spend money on vbSEO yet.) vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner | | | Join Date: Dec 2007 | Posts: 118 | Location: Florida | Re: How Am I Doing? I read the article on linkbaiting, but I'm still a little confused. Would my forum's blog count of linkbaiting? I've written some controversial articles. vBSetup Team Tech Admin vBulletin Owner | | | Join Date: Aug 2006 | Posts: 1,644 | Location: Anaheim, CA | Re: How Am I Doing? Do you have links in the articles that linkback to your site?

Its good to get the articles out there, then let the word spread after you've at least spread the word a bit. Once you get successful with that, you won't need to do as much promotion yourself to get articles linked, because people will come to you to find them. | | | Join Date: Dec 2007 | Posts: 118 | Location: Florida | Re: How Am I Doing? And a little question: If I bought vbSEO, do I still need Google/Yahoo sitemap generator? Community Manager vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner | | Join Date: Nov 2007 | Posts: 774 | Location: Buffalo, NY | Re: How Am I Doing? Quote:

I've got it installed, and it doesn't hurt since it's free. I've got it sending my sitemap nightly to google, Probably a bit overkill, but thats the default time increment. | | | Join Date: Dec 2007 | Posts: 118 | Location: Florida | Re: How Am I Doing? Yes, that's what I'm talking about. I didn't know it was an add-on, because you don't need vbSEO to run it. vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner vBSetup Owner
