How to make the forum crawled by Google fast?

Would anybody advice me on how to make my forum crawled by Google fast?

I have submitted sitemap and I submit many useful posts on many social bookmarking sites but still I don't see some of those posts indexed by Google.

When I post something on my blog (decentweblog.com) it crawls the new post within few minutes but here on my this blog it is not indexing the new posts fast.

Looking forward to your advices.

go to vbulletin.org and search for vbseo sitemap, there is a simple to install plugin from the folks at vbseo that will report all activity direct to the search engines and get their attention fast.

You will need to build backlinks to your site, preferably the main page if that's where you want to see the rankings and spidering to start. How long ago have you submitted the sitemap for this? Have you added it in google webmaster tools to be crawled before?

Yes, I am building backlinks and the forum has got PR2 as well, I think PR2 is fair PR and google should crawl the forum more often

I posted a thread on my forum and at the same time posted it on DP forum, after few minutes I searched the title of the thread on google and I found that DP post was already indexed but my forum's post was nowhere

Well there will be more crawling of the DP site, the more backlinks there are, the more "open doors" that a site has to it.

I have never had an issue with delayed crawling on any of my sites - ever. The tricks have already been mentioned: first and foremost, submit a sitemap. Then build some backlinks, and try submitting to some social bookmarking services (Digg, StumbleUpon) and you'll be getting crawled soon enough.

Make sure you have plenty of content to be crawled though. Don't submit a blank and empty site.

Yep, we still get 50 some people from Digg daily and have been banned from there for quite awhile.

There is no sure fire way to make your site crawled fast. It takes time and effort. You have to build backlinks, publish quality content, and then you wait. There is no shortcut. You can help it by doing your best to SEO your site, but other than that, its time effort and a waiting game.

I would give that a read. It will help

Never ever add your site using the Google Add URL form. Google likes to find websites by itself.

Submit your forum to directories, get links from other associated websites and submit your sitemap to webmaster tools.

yeah idk what it would matter if you submitted it or they found it on their own other then time in discovery.

I don't know why it would matter either, but I've never submitted it there. I think submitting a sitemap is a better alternative. It's just my personal preference, but it gets my sites crawled extremely quickly, so I don't have any complaints.

o i agree, the way i do it is....

submit url to google for the first time, then submit daily sitemaps with the vbseo submitter from there on.

A lot of it depends on the age of the site. The older the site, the faster its crawled. Besides that, submit a site map to your google webmaster tools, your yahoo site explorer and your bing webmaster account.

each time i post a thread of a reply, i got it crawled in the next page flip, 2 or 3 seconds... i suppose google and some other crawlers like me...

That was just a test I did last year, I would make a new thread and search the "thread title" and will would be fully indexed within ten mins
