I was wondering if anyone knew how you would do this.

What I want is like a news forum on the regular forums and whatever gets posted in that section will appear on the front homepage when it is loaded up. Like instead of loading up a new index everytime to do a frontpage update you just change it in that forum and be done.

I have seen it done on other forums, mainly gaming forums etc.

Do you mean like vBadvanced CMPS addon does?
Maybe that is what you seen....

We are using RSS on a wordpress blog, vba can do this very easily as well

Hmm here is an example that I am talking about.

When you go to forums you see headline news and whatever is posted in that section will appear on the very frontpage of the website.
