How'd I lose all my PR?
I was taken by complete surprise today when I noticed nearly all the pages of my site that had page rank of 3 and 4, except for the home page, were sitting at zero. What the hell happened? It doesn't appear to be the work of proxies. Google is still spending time on my site every day. TheFloorPro.com had a number of 3s and 4s and now it's got only one page with a PR4 and a couple of 1s.
This has me worried. I have no clue what could have happened. Could it have been my server move? My site stayed live while I tried out a few different hosts, setting up copies of my site using the domain name thefloorpro.net. Each time I would try a new host, I would change the name servers and set up the site again. This took a few weeks and when I finally made the move to Host Gator, I took the .NET site down.
Is there anything I can do, short of starting over? I worked hard for that PR and it was going to be a selling point for a directory. Any wisdom or advice would be appreciated.
