How many keywords is too many to be SE friendly? Or I guess I should say characters, I

I have seen some say 150 char. and then I have seen some 170..

Now today I found a place that said up to 1000 char. was ok..

good question, I don't use to many since in the end, what is your goal, target in the end. I guess search engines must cut of somewhere but I have no clue where and if the main words are behind the cutoff....
I try to choose about 10 that are really well targeted and not to common
from there on... be persistant and use them in posts.

With my vbseo, I was wondering if I have too many keywords in some of the links to my forums. What do you guys think?

Hey again. Thanks for your advice. It is much appreciated. I was just wondering, do you think Google might penalize these URLs for having too many keywords? They are two of the subdirectories on my forum

Too much is when you're just picking random words. Keywords are words that have a strong relationship to what you're writing.
