Link Building

Hey guys,
I own a Health and Fitness Related forum: Health and Fitness Forums as well as a Health and Fitness Site that sells nutritional supplements: Bodybuilding Supplements | Weight Loss Supplements -

My question is, if I want to do link exchanges with other health / fitness forums, what is the best way to exchange links? Is there an easy plugin that will help get link exchanges or provide a place to post links on the forum, or what do you think works best for link exchanges?

I want to make sure that they're all relevant and clean links. Any ideas?

Also, is there anyone on here with sites related to diet, weight loss, supplements, bodybuilding or sports that wants to trade?

Re: Link Building

i would do what you are doing here. make a good post like that and add your links there. then ask if people want to trade links. should work out well for you, do this on oter sites too like digital point and other webmaster sites.

Re: Link Building

Dave from vBulletinSetup.com installed a cool hack for me:
It's called Links and Downloads Manager. It seems like it is a cool way to manage link exchanges! Dave is the MAN!!!

If you're not sure how to do it, Dave can do it very quick, and he's really good at making stuff like that look good and fit your forum! If you look at my site, you can see where he put the link. It's all the way to the right where the Log Out button normally goes.

Re: Link Building

I've always just added a box and managed them by hand; never thought there was a mod available for that.

Yeah,
Talk to Dave! He set up all kinds of cool stuff for me!
Have you checked it out on my forum? Does anyone have any idea how to configure it to make it automatically add links / link exchanges when someone adds their link? Link Exchange Page
I'd love to see how to make it work better...

Re: Link Building

Right now your site wont load but i would thin in order to automate it you would need some kind of link directory script to get those exchanges right...
