I'm going on holiday soon, got 10 hours on a flight to kill.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good SEO book?

I see there's quite a few on amazon as I would have expected but has anyone read one and gained from it.

I'm not a newbie to SEO so a fairly advanced book would be preferred.

Do you run a forum? Check out my forum owners blog.

I've been looking through seobook.com and quite frankly, I'm a little confused.

What do you actually get? Do you get a proper book or an eBook?

I've been on their site for 10 mins now and still don't know how much it costs. Is it a one off fee or a monthly subscription?

The fact that it doesn't have a price on the main page makes it look as if they're hiding something. I registered but can't get into their community to ask questions lol.

Very suspect.

I'd have to agree.

Personally, the entire SEO "market" is really overrated. I get daily offers for ads to be placed on my site. I've never used vbSEO or anything. All I did was create my own backlinks, submit my site to a few search engines, created content, kept it updated, etc, etc, etc- basically, all the grinding. And, theoretically, it worked.

I wouldn't suggest spending money on SEO tools or products. There are useful tips, yes, but you can find that online, for free.
