Nothing fancy, just a cute little heart icon below their username and in their profile. It seems to be working, but the majority of the users are not web-savvy and are thus linking to the site from their MySpace, freeweb, or other free web page sites. Sure some have their own domains, but for the most part these are not high quality links, as I understand the term. Will this help or hurt in the long run?

I know myspace added a redirect to all outbound links.. This may be what your talking about..
In that case, it isn't a direct link, so it wont pass pr or anything, but it will help with traffic stiff Contributor
