New forum SEO exercise.

Just for fun I decided to launch a new forum in the highly competitive iPad and tablet PC space. We bought two domain names www.DiscussiPad.net and www.padcomputerforum.com on the day that Apple did the launch Jan. 27th, 1010

We chose to lead with the PadComputerForum domain in order to embrace non-apple products as well. The DiscussiPad domain name is now just a referral page.

We installed our CrowdReport CMS in order to give the site an editorial front-page without having to do anything more than publish good threads directly to the frontpage.

We'll see how it goes as an experiment and I will keep doing updates here in order to share our findings, failures, and successes. Think of this as a captain's log for a new forum

I have my fingers crossed that a technology blog will use an article I wrote on the iPad and give this new project some linkjuice!

Have you installed any mods which optimise the site for tablet pc's?

Unlike mobile phones- tablet PC's are big enough where you don't have to do anything to make a site look good.
