Page Load Time

Do you check your page load time ?
It's something I started looking into when we switched over to vbulletin 3.7.x
I've used this site to check our sites page load time in the past.
Web Page Analyzer - free website optimization tool website speed test check website performance report from web site optimization
I'm thinking about removing the 2 cj ads in the sidebar, we make 50$ a month or so on them but it looks like if I removed those two, it would increase the load time dramatically.

What is your page load time and what steps have you taken to maximize this.

Cheers
-Brandon

Re: Page Load Time

I have also noticed that CJ ads increase the load time quite a bit.

Re: Page Load Time

I never really checked mine, but as long as the page load time is under 5-6 seconds, I don't really complain much

Re: Page Load Time

Google Analytics increase page load time quite a lot.

But of course... i always checked mine. Shoutboxes would increase it dramatically.

Re: Page Load Time

That's the #1 reason why I've never wanted to have a shoutbox, or at the very least if I did have one, I'd have it hidden to guest.

I just want my site as fast as possible for the bots to scan it
