| Re: Powered by vBulletin in title tag [how to remove] Thank you. I was trying to figure this out for a few hours now. I'm glad I took a closer look at this site. What does the {1} mean imply in code? Why do we just want to leave that there, and just not leave it blank?

| Re: Powered by vBulletin in title tag [how to remove] anything in brackets like that in a phrase is a variable that is called from within the template example would be like <phrase 1="$vboptions['bbtitle']">
Which means the 1 is the forum title and it gets replaced with the {1}

| Re: Powered by vBulletin in title tag [how to remove] In the copyright text at the page footer, what is the best method to remove the vBulletin version? Just edit the phrase [powered_by_vbulletin]? I know removing the version is perfectly legal. |

Can someone take a peek and make sure of it? |

| Re: Powered by vBulletin in title tag [how to remove] Does this have to be done after every upgrade?
It looks like it's still at the bottom of my forums and I was thinking that it was something that I have to do repeatedly, but I didn't know. |

| Re: Powered by vBulletin in title tag [how to remove] If you've edited the phrase then it only needs to be done once.
If you've edited the templates and changed the 'x_powered_by_vbulletin' text to something else or just removed it then it might return if you upgrade vB and revert the template.
The copyright text at the bottom of the forum should always be there unless you've bought a brand free version of vbulletin. And it only needs to say 'Powered by vBulletin', you can change the version to whatever you want, i.e. Pro, Elite, etc. or remove it completely. |

What is your forum url again?
You can always look in the footer and see it's Jelsoft or vBulletin, but I wouldn't sacrifice your forum traffic just because you want vBulletin in your title |
