I've had some thoughts if Google gives a lower rating to boards where users (full)quote a lot each other, resulting that maybe 30% of a thread's content consists of quoted postings.

Do you think that this could be a problem for the ranking of the website?

It could, however sometimes you have to compromise on SEO to facilitate better communication, which quoted messages provide. Of course you can always edit the post to reduce the quoted message if it is too long and not that relevant.
