Re: SEO Template Edits and Relevant Replacements using vBSEO

Yeah, it might take a bit of time but it's worth it But mainly you'll have to do the forumhome, header and navbar, seems like everything else is very close to default code. Shouldn't take very long. I bought vRocking from transversestyles and he had edits everywhere and it took me about a day...and that's b/c I really didn't know what I was doing.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend getting a program called BeyondCompare. All you do is save your templates in a txt file (call one modified and the other default - save your current edits to modified and the default skin to default), then compare the 2 files...it will tell you everything that has changed. It's a huge time save. So all you have to do is see where it's changed, find un-changed code, copy it, in TMS paste it to find that, copy your modified code, and paste it in TMS and set it to insert above or below.

Let me know if you need help :P

Gah...another update is on it's way. Did some code clean up...I've been doing various other tests and found out that the meta tags were f'ed up...you can thank vb-faq for that lol. For some reason the metatags weren't being picked up by a certain tool I used...other tools found it but it's better to be safe than sorry. So yeah...just a few code changes that should help the code run better.
