VBSEO Sitemap

Hi all,

I have VBSEO 3.6 installed, and to my knowledge, all is working a it should.

However the sitemap page, when i view it, shows me the following:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

I dont see any real content there, other than a small bit of code, with my site address, and showing that it is being updated..

<lastmod>2007-01-04T04:54:18+00:00</lastmod>

Does this seem ok?

regards

Re: VBSEO Sitemap

nope, that is an empty file
I don't use vbseo but you have 2 versions, the xml and then the compressed one tar.gz I think
not sure to which of those vbseo writes.
Else is it set active in the settings ?

Re: VBSEO Sitemap

hi,

It uses the tar.gz compressed file.

Ive checked google webstats , and my site is now indexed on there.

So as far as im aware, yes it is enabled in vbseocp, but if someone could cant really see any entry to directly enable it.

Update, just found a similar thread on VBSEO site, an this was quoted "Looks correct. That's just the index sitemap, and will point to any/all of your additional sitemaps."

So maybe its ok after all.
