How old is that forum?

Edit: thats quite an old forum (January 2005), apart from pagerank the forum has 1230 indexed pages in google, even though the forum itself has 14000+ threads and over 100000 posts!

Did the forum ever had a page rank?

Where do you see it was created in 05 ?

I only see 3 months in Internet Archive Wayback Machine

and Codmp.com - Cod mp
shows it was created 12-06
and I only see a handfull of backlinks

It was created in 2005, but was under co.uk at the time, changed it to .com around 10-11 months ago. I don't know if it has ever had a PR as i is only the past few weeks that i have become interested in SEO, ranking etc.

Not the best way to use the older domain, you should have done a 301 redirect from the older domain to the new one.

In any case, now you need to focus on getting inbound links. Whether its through submission to various free directories or by utilizing the social bookmarking sites and forum signatures.

Also you need to optimize your forum so that google can spider its content easily, easiest way would be buying vbseo if you can afford it.
